The Embassy of Canada - Moscow
Paying Fees
The Application Fee will not be refunded under any circumstances. The fee is
charged for each person who intends to travel to Canada. This includes all
accompanying children, whether they have their own passport or are included in
the passport of a parent.
Fees are subject to change without notice. Rates are established in Canadian
dollars. Equivalents in US dollars or Russian roubles are established by the
Embassy, and are subject to change. If you choose to pay in Canadian funds,
please bring the exact amount, as change is not available.
Fees can be paid:
- in Russian roubles cash;
- in US dollars cash or Canadian dollars cash;
- by a certified cheque in Canadian funds made out to the Receiver General
for Canada;
- by money order in Canadian funds made out to the Receiver General for Canada.
Fees are received directly at the Visa Section of the Canadian
Embassy in Moscow. We do not accept fee payment by credit card.
Certified cheques, money orders or bank drafts must be presented for payment within two
months of issue date. Older certified instruments will be returned to the
client.
We will not accept an application without the correct fee. If the fee is incorrect, the
entire application and accompanying documents will be returned to the client.
On Monday, May 22, 2006, the rouble and US
dollar amounts on our fee schedule were adjusted to reflect
recent fluctuations in the value of the Canadian dollar. The Canadian
dollar amounts on our fee schedule remain the same.
