THE HALIFAX Mooseheads have enjoyed better times.
The team has won only twice in the past nine games. Attendance remains strong, but the number of fans in the building is noticeably down from recent seasons. Two high-profile players recently left the club. And the building philosophy that appears designed to ice at least a .500 team each season, avoiding the feast-and-famine plan some other franchises follow, may be out of favour with fans who are tired of waiting for a QMJHL title.
