VISAS Visas to enter Canada are not issued by the Canadian Embassy in Phnom Penh, but we can provide the forms and basic information on documentation and fees required. Visitor visas and student permits are issued by the Canadian Embassy in Bangkok. The applicant must forward their own application to the Visa Section of the Canadian Embassy in Bangkok. When the visas have been issued, the passports with the Canadian visas are returned to the applicant via the Canadian Embassy in Phnom Penh. The Embassy in Bangkok may require an interview with the applicant, which would mean a trip to Bangkok. Please allow several weeks for processing, generally three weeks for visitor visas, and three months for student visas.
