KILGOUR TO SPEAK AT PUBLIC POLICY FORUM CONFERENCE

Media representatives are advised that Secretary of State (Asia-Pacific) David Kilgour will address participants during the concluding plenary session of the Public Policy Forum conference on economic transformation in western Canada, in Calgary, Alberta, on May 6, 2003.

Approximately 100 senior representatives from the governments of the western provinces, the federal government and the private sector will participate in the conference to discuss the challenges created by the changing economic reality in western Canada, and how these challenges can be met within the national context.
