Media representatives are advised that Secretary of State for Latin America, Africa and La Francophonie, Denis Paradis will host a ceremony to celebrate the Journée Internationale de la Francophonie on Thursday, March 20, 2003.

The ceremony will include an address by Secretary of State Paradis and a message from Boutros Boutros-Ghali, former Secretary General of the International Organization of La Francophonie.
