Reports on Critical Habitat Protection

Under the Act, the Minister must provide a statement and/or progress report on any unprotected portions of a wildlife species critical habitat. This would be required if he/she was of the opinion that the critical habitat remained unprotected after it being identified in a recovery strategy or action plan. The Minister must continue to report every subsequent 180 day period, until the portion is protected or no longer identified as critical habitat.

To find a statement and/or report, please select a species group and species.

Species marked with an asterisk (*) have at least one associated document.
