How to Maintain the Canadian Environmental Assessment Registry Internet Site

This session is a hands-on course that provides instructions for entering and maintaining environmental assessment (EA) information in the Canadian Environmental Assessment Registry Internet Site according to legislative and regulatory requirements. The training session will give participants an excellent chance to use the Registry Internet site database application and ask related questions of our experienced trainer.

Participants are expected to have a basic level of knowledge about the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act and the Registry.

Objectives

The training session includes a series of hands-on practice exercises designed to take you through all the main functions of the Registry Internet site. You will learn how to enter and maintain basic EA information in the application, in order to provide accurate, timely and high-quality information to the public.

Who should attend?

This course is intended for federal EA practitioners who are involved in or managing the Canadian Environmental Assessment Registry during the environmental assessment process and those who enter and maintain data in the Registry Internet site.

Prerequisite

It is recommended that participants take the Overview of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Registry course.

Fees

There is no cost to attend these sessions. However, due to the nature of these sessions, participation is limited to a maximum of 12 participants per session.

Duration

This is a half-day course.
