Marmot Basin (Eagle Ridge) Ski Development

Alberta

Description: Ski Marmot Basin Ltd. has submitted a proposal to install and operate a new quad chairlift on Eagle Ridge within the Marmot Basin Ski Area in Jasper National Park.

Decision of the Minister of the Environment: On August 30, 2000, following a review of public comments and the environmental assessment report, the Minister concluded that the project is unlikely to cause significant adverse environmental effects and referred the project back to the responsible authority for appropriate next steps.
