NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT

of an environmental assessment

Building Construction and Renovations

Burlington (PE)

March 9, 2007 -- The Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency will conduct a screening commencing on March 8, 2007 of the project: Building Construction and Renovations.

The project involves the construction of a new 5,000 square foot (1540 sq metre) building to house a restaurant and information center for a tourism attraction facility. It also includes renovation and upgrading of several structures existing on the site.

Under section 5 of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, an EA is required for this project because the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency may provide financial assistance to the proponent for the purpose of enabling the project.
