Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada will conduct a screening commencing on March 15, 2007 of the project:
Farm Water Supply Culvert CBCWSEP 07-7603.
This project entails the installation of a culvert to upgrade an existing irrigation system.
Under section 5 of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, an EA is required for this project because Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada may provide financial assistance to the proponent for the purpose of enabling the project.
