Screenings under the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act
For some, just learning about the Act is not enough. Producing high-quality environmental assessments largely depends on using sound principles and methods. This course will help participants to complete a screening level EA that not only meets requirements of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, but also demonstrates good EA practice.

Individuals involved in planning, managing, conducting, reviewing or participating in screenings under the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act. This course will also benefit those who want to learn how the federal screening level assessment process works.

prepare you for managing effective environmental assessments, including: identifying and predicting environmental effects, scoping, involving the public, mitigating environmental effects, evaluating significance and reporting EA findings

Prerequisite
Participants must have taken the Agency's introductory course, Orientation to the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, or must be familiar with the Act as it relates to screening-level assessments.
