Acronyms

This site uses the acronym tag. When you see an acronym in the page, it should be a light gray colour. In newer browsers, putting your mouse cursor on this acronym will cause the full text of the acronym to pop up. Screen readers and speech browsers can also interpret this text.
You can test this now by putting your mouse cursor on this text: W3C

Accesskeys

This site uses accesskeys to facilitate navigation to screen reader users. The acceskeys used are the following:

Accesskey M - to return to the main menu
Accesskey Z - to skip the menus and go directly to the content
Accesskey X - to go to the sub-menu

To use an accesskey you must hold down the "alt" key on your keyboard as well as the desired accesskey. For example Alt+M will take you to the main menu. You must select the "enter" key after using the Alt key combination.
