Services

1. Reference service

  • Bibliographic searches (BCIN - conservation database; BMUSE - museology database).
  • Instruction on using the library collection, equipment and the Web catalogue.

2. Loans

The CCI Library provides inter-library loans to Canadian and American libraries, and direct loans to Canadian heritage organizations (e.g. museums, archives, provincial museum associations). Heritage organizations must register with the CCI Library the first time they use this service. With the exception of rare, fragile, or reserved materials, reference sources, and journals, all materials from the collection are available for loan.

3. Photocopying service

(see list of charges)

Subject to the terms of the Copyright Act of Canada, photocopies of articles from journals, books, reports, conference proceedings can be sent by mail or fax.

4. Catalogue query

The CCI Library Web Catalogue is available for our on-site and off-site clients.
