Blue mussel aquaculture, in Moisie Bay, Québec

Moisie Bay, North Shore (QC)

February 12, 2007 -- Transport Canada will conduct a screening commencing on February 7, 2007 of the project: Blue mussel aquaculture, in Moisie Bay, Québec.

The scoop of the project is ths installation of Shellfish aquaculture facilities in the Moisie Bay, North shore of the St. Lawrence river

Under section 5 of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, an EA is required for this project because Transport Canada may issue an approval under paragraph 5(1)(a) of the Navigable Waters Protection Act.
