Lewisporte Harbour (NL)

March 8, 2007 -- Transport Canada will conduct a screening commencing on March 8, 2007 of the project: Demolition of a Creosoted pile wharf.

Demolition of a Creosoted pile wharf, measuring 40meters long by 7.6 meters wide, located at Lewisport, NL.

Under section 5 of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, an EA is required for this project because Transport Canada may provide federal lands for the purpose of enabling this project to be carried out.
