September 5, 2006 -- Indian and Northern Affairs Canada will conduct a screening commencing on September 5, 2006 of the project: Site's restoration of Policeman Office un Opitciwan.

Rehabilitation 530 cubic metres of contaminated soils on the Policeman Office in Opitciwan

Under section 5 of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, an EA is required for this project because Indian and Northern Affairs Canada may provide financial assistance to the proponent for the purpose of enabling the project.
