Tsay Keh Dene - Powerhouse Site Bioventing and Product Recovery Pilot Test - CPMS 8014

Finlay River (BC)

September 14, 2006 -- Indian and Northern Affairs Canada will conduct a screening commencing on July 12, 2006 of the project: Tsay Keh Dene - Powerhouse Site Bioventing and Product Recovery Pilot Test - CPMS 8014.

Further delineation of groundwater contamination at powerhouse site; installation of groundwater wells; bioventing and product recovery pilot test to ascertain method of remediation for site.

Under section 5 of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, an EA is required for this project because Indian and Northern Affairs Canada may provide financial assistance to the proponent for the purpose of enabling the project.
