NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT

of an environmental assessment

Wolfden Resources Incorporated - Diamond drilling, High Lake Area, Kitikmeot, Nunavut

High Lake (NU)

March 22, 2007 -- Indian and Northern Affairs Canada will conduct a screening commencing on March 7, 2007 of the project: Wolfden Resources Incorporated - Diamond drilling, High Lake Area, Kitikmeot, Nunavut.

The area has been explored since the 1950's. Wolfden has been exploring since 2000. Continued exploration in 2007 and 2008 will be conducted with the objective of drill testing targets in the surrounding region. Wolfden Resources proposes to have one drill site location outside their current land lease. Drill cuttings will be disposed into borehole or mounded on top of hole and stabilized by hand. All residual materials will be disposed of at the existing camp or in Yellowknife. The site will be inspected for soil contamination.

Under section 5 of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, an EA is required for this project because Indian and Northern Affairs Canada may provide federal lands for the purpose of enabling this project to be carried out and may issue a permit or license under paragraph 27(a) of the Territorial Land Use Regulations.
