Fuel Tank Replacement Program

The Government of
Newfoundland and Labrador has implemented an assistance program for low
income homeowners to help offset the cost of replacement of fuel oil
tanks.

The assistance program will
commence April 1, 2002 and will be in effect for five years.

Households who use home
heating fuel as their primary source of heat may be eligible for the
grant upon replacement of a domestic fuel tank.
