Provincial Tax Regime

The Taxation and Fiscal Policy Branch is responsible for the implementation and administration of most provincial taxes. The Newfoundland Personal and Corporate Income Taxes systems, as well as the Harmonized Sales Tax are administered by Canada Revenue Agency.

Taxes may be classified between those paid by individuals and those paid by businesses.
