There are a lot of positive things happening in Newfoundland and Labrador. The Ambassador Program, with its international network and newsletter, is just one of the resources we use to get this important message out to the world.

Our Ambassadors
An active network of ambassadors, spanning the globe and promoting Newfoundland and Labrador, gives us direct access to potentially valuable market information and access to an expanded business network in foreign markets. We facilitate communications among our ambassadors, the provincial government and our business community. There are currently Ambassadors of Newfoundland and Labrador living across Canada and internationally. These individuals are "friends" of the province who promote Newfoundland and Labrador to the world.

To support our Ambassadors and promote local businesses, an ongoing distribution of information is provided through the bimonthly publication, The Ambassador. Additional supplementary information on our economy and specific sectors is also provided to our ambassadors regularly.

Direct contact with ambassadors on an individual and collective basis is maintained through formalized networking sessions as well as smaller meetings hosted in conjunction with business travel.

Our bimonthly newsletter The Ambassador, is a voice for success stories about enterprising people and innovations from across our province.  With the generous support of our partners, over 20,000 copies are distributed throughout the province, across Canada and internationally.
