NEWFOUNDLAND
CANCER TREATMENT AND RESEARCH FOUNDATION (NCTRF)
The NCTRF is the only province-wide organization solely dedicated
to the care and treatment of cancer patients and their families.
It operates the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre in St. John's
and regional oncology programs in Grand Falls-Windsor, Gander,
Corner Brook and St. Anthony. Regional clinics are held in Happy
Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador City and Burin.

THE DR. H. BLISS MURPHY CANCER CENTRE
This Centre the only provider of radiation
therapy in the province. Services at this site include: a cancer
registry (information on cancer incidence and mortality); medical
oncology; nutrition services; prevention and screening iniialtives;
radiation oncology; recreation and leisure activites program;
research and clinical trails initiatives; social work services;
and pain and symptom management/palliative care.
