The agrifoods industry is comprised of 643 farms and over 100 food manufacturers.
Total Farm Cash Receipts in 2004 have grown to exceed $87.7 million which is up 6.6% from the previous year.
Leading the growth in the agrifood industry in 2004 was the Poultry sector with Eggs up 13.9% and Chicken up 7.9%.
Primary production includes an array of products including dairy, poultry, red meats, vegetables, fruits, greenhouse products and fur.
