Remembrance Day

Flags on all Government of Canada buildings and establishments across the country, including the Peace Tower, will be flown at half-mast from sunrise to sunset on Remembrance Day, Sunday, November 11, 2007. When half-masting occurs at the National War Memorial or a place where remembrance is being observed, the half-masting can occur at 11:00 a.m. (or according to the prescribed order of service) until sunset. Death of Constable Douglas Allen Scott

Flags on all Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) buildings and establishments across the country will be flown at half-mast from now until sunset on Tuesday, November 13, 2007, the day of the funeral of Constable Douglas Allen Scott.

Further, flags on all Government of Canada buildings and establishments in Nunavut will be flown at half-mast from November 7, 2007, until sunset on Tuesday, November 13, 2007, the day of the funeral of Constable Douglas Allen Scott.

Further, flags on all Government of Canada buildings and establishments in the Northwest Territories have been at half-mast since Tuesday, October 9, 2007, and will be flown at half-mast until sunset on Monday, October 15, 2007, the day of the commemorative service of Constable Christopher John Worden.
