About Web Browsers and the Canada Council Web Site

This site is best viewed in a web browser that supports web standards. Web standards make it possible for us to provide the latest features and functionality for our web visitors.

Examples: Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher, Netscape 7 or higher, Opera 7 or higher, Apple Safari.

You can learn about web standards and about upgrading your browser at the Webstandards.org web site. Depending on the technical configuration of your computer or your network, you may have to consult your own service provider or technical support specialists to download and install a web browser upgrade.

If you do not have a web browser that supports web standards, you will still be able to access all of the content on the web site, but may not experience some of the sites features. About Javascript, Cookies and the Canada Council Web Site

This web site occasionally makes use of some javascript and web "cookies" to make selected special features and functionality possible. To ensure that you can take full advantage of this web site, please leave your web browser settings for javascript and cookies "enabled."
