CIHR's Stem Cell Oversight Committee (SCOC) is reviewing the Guidelines for Human Pluripotent Stem Cell Research (the "Guidelines") as they pertain to the establishment of a human embryonic stem cell (hESC) line registry. SCOC is considering a requirement that all hESC lines derived under the auspices of an Institution that receives any Agency (CIHR, Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), or the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC)) funding be registered.

SCOC is soliciting your opinion on this matter. The survey will be open until February 15, 2008.
