Government Records Accessible Outside Ottawa

Library and Archives Canada (LAC) operates regional offices for the purpose of providing access to regional archival records of the Government of Canada.

Please note that not all regional government records are held in these offices. In the past, LAC transferred a large number of these records to Ottawa. If you are not sure of the location of the records of interest to you, ask us a question.
