DIRECTIONS

Research and Policy on Eliminating Racism
A Journal of the Canadian Race Relations Foundation

WHAT IS DIRECTIONS?

DIRECTIONS  is the only journal published in Canada (with articles in English and French) that is dedicated to publishing work on anti-racism and ways to combat racism in Canada.

As the research journal of the Canadian Race Relations Foundation (CRRF), DIRECTIONS'  objective is to ensure that anti-racism dialogue continues at all levels of Canadian society - with the ultimate goal being the elimination of racism in Canada.

DIRECTIONS  publishes original research, (funded through our contract research program) and other research by leading Canadian anti-racism experts who undertake  unique community-based, action-oriented research. The journal provides a forum for important dialogue and debate on anti-racism and race-related issues and practical recommendations for policy development and change.

HOW OFTEN IS DIRECTIONS PUBLISHED?

DIRECTIONS is published twice a year. In March 2005 the re-launch issue of the journal heralded a bold new design and larger accessible format. Other enhancements include the addition of a Guest Editor for every issue and the creation of an independent Editorial Advisory Board, consisting of prominent Canadians with expertise in anti-racism and race-relations.
