Partnerships

From its beginning, CIHR has developed a very broad, inclusive approach to partnership. The multidisciplinary research environment we encourage helps to bring together a wide variety of organizations. Partner organizations include other federal government departments and agencies, provincial funding agencies and relevant provincial and territorial departments, health charities, non-governmental organizations, industry, as well as international organizations. Partnerships can include both financial and non-financial contributions. Non-financial contributions may be: access to professional networks, areas of expertise, shared tools and documentation and in-kind resources.

The Partnership section of the website contains information for potential partners. The partnerships discussed refer to collaborations between CIHR and other organizations. Visit our pages to learn about:

The Partnership Branch can also provide support for workshops and scientific symposia that relate to innovative partnerships.  Visit our Workshop and Symposia Support Guidelines for more information.

Researchers looking for a full list of partnered funding opportunities, should consult the Current Funding Opportunities page.
