OTTAWA (October 30, 2007) - Why is drug spending rising? How can we improve patient care and the functioning of health care workers? How do we make the best use of limited home-care services? How can we reduce wait times by speeding-up the process of finding a family doctor?
These are all valuable questions being asked by experts recently awarded funding by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR).
Health researchers in the areas of wait times and health care services are available to speak about their funded research projects and how their work will make a difference for Canadians. The topics and associated researchers are:
