Public Statements

Since January 1, 2004, the Cabinet Directive on the Environmental Assessment of Policy, Plan and Program Proposals (Cabinet Directive) has required that federal departments and agencies, upon the completion of a strategic environmental assessment (SEA), prepare public statements of environmental effects.
