Administrative revisions to the Integrated Voice Messaging Service, and the addition of two feature attributes to the existing Call Answer PlusTM mailbox, namely, Visual Manager, which provides customers with the ability to visually access, retrieve and manage voice messages using an ADSI-based telephone, and MessageLink, which provides customers with both voice and email notification from their telephone or personal computer. Increase in the maximum period allowable for which customers can suspend their service from seven months to eleven months, increase in the charge associated with suspended service from 25% of the regular monthly recurring charges per month to 50%, as well as a clarification that Exchange Mileage charges do not apply when a service is temporarily suspended. Introduction of a new promotional offer called "Complete Choice Promotion" under which customers who use BC TEL as their Local Exchange Carrier will be able to subscribe to any number of SmartTouch services at a fixed monthly rate. - 98-1343 - CI File No.: 8640-T10-01/98. Part VII application dated 2 December 1998 in contemplation of a legal amalgamation of TCI, TCEI, TELUS Edmonton Holdings Inc., TELUS Mobility Inc. (TMI), Canadian Mobility Products and TELUS Cable Holdings Inc., effective 1 January 1999 seeking a declaration that the forbearance order which currently applies to TMI’s mobile wireless operations in Alberta will continue to apply to the amalgamated entity. Alternatively, the application sought an order, pursuant to section 34 of the Act, forbearing from regulating the amalgamated entity’s mobile wireless services.
