Overview
In December, 2003, the Government of Canada released guidelines with respect to the posting of travel and hospitality expenses of senior executives of government departments and government agencies.
As a Crown corporation, Enterprise Cape Breton Corporation (ECBC) is governed by Part X of the Financial Administration Act and it's own policies with regards to business expenses, which provide for the reimbursement of necessary, legitimate and appropariate business expenses. In the interests of good governance and transparency, ECBC has decided to disclose the travel and hospitality expenses for its relevant executives, while respecting issues related to privacy and confidentiality.
Disclosed amounts contain expenditures attributable to ECBC, the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), and the Cape Breton Growth Fund (CBGF).
