Provides research, advice, policy and legislative support for public governance, and northern political development. Activities include: the negotiation of devolution agreements with northern governments, support for Intergovernmental processes; appointment of Territorial Commissioners; provision of information on MLAs, Cabinet Ministers, & Deputy Ministers in the territorial governments; maintenance of a data base on Yukon/N.W.T. statutes; and management of the Land Claims Obligation System (LCOS)
