National Child Benefit First Nations Reinvestment The National Child Benefit provides communities with
resources to design and implement programs and services to improve the lives of low-income parents and their
children.
The National Child Benefit was introduced in 1998. Federal, provincial
and territorial governments, and First Nations work together to deliver
the program. This program is available for low-income families with children living
