Anne Murray

Before there was Celine Dion, before there was Shania Twain, there was Anne Murray.

She has been the Queen of Canadian music for more than thirty years. Murray released her first album in 1968, and has released 32 studio albums since. She has received more awards than almost any female singer in the history of music.

Don't believe me? 4 Grammys, 3 American Music Awards, 3 Country Music Awards, 3 Canadian Country Music awards and 24 Junos. She's also a Companion of the Order of Canada, which is the highest honour that can be awarded to a civilian.

Murray was thought to have recorded her last album, but she found time to do another, 'Anne Murray Duets: Friends & Legends.'

Thank You George and Company!!! It is always a treat to see and hear Anne Murray!  A true Canadian   Legend.  Your chat with Anne made our day!  Rushing to ITunes to find the new Duets Album.  Can't wait to hear that sweet voice!

NO WAY can you stop singing.....when we look forward to anything, or  anyway, you want to share your talents with us.  We so look forward to your  tours......buy our tickets and wait........enjoy every minute of your  performances......and love it that you invite us to sing along with you during  the performance.   And your band is the very best!   It's so  enjoyable listening to good music and not having to put tissue in your ears  because it's so loud.    How about doing TV specials when you're  not touring?   How about making DVDs of your tour so we could have  them at home?    How about..........   I could go on and on.  Just please don't stop.  We would miss you terribly here  in Mississippi.  My husband says....ditto.  He'll take  me to any of your performances.....already have tickets for two in  March.   Can't wait !

I guess we fans did not know, or did not want to know I'll Be Seeing You AKA All Of Me was going to be her last album.  Of course, we are all excited to hear more. And from the clips we have seen in the studio, Anne sounds better than ever...And you know she looks great too!!! There will never be another Anne Murray, it will be a great loss to this world when she does decide to really retire..None of these so called stars of today can even hold a candle to her.. And the way I look at it, sixty is supposedly the new fourty....And after seeing
her jump roping segment on the  CBC national,  I really believe that in her case...So keep  it coming Anne !!!!

Give Me a Break!  Anne Murray, Are you an old woman?  Nope! Quality lasts forever.  Didn't anyone ever tell you that?
Why must someone so competent step aside so others who might never fill their own shoes let alone yours take over?
Anne baby, you are not done yet.  Your mother would never have given up, so why would you? I am not asking for an over the hill freak show, I am asking you, are you really ever done?  If so, then go and see where it all leads. Dawn, we, the rel fans cannot take her seriously without you........ From Springhill to the world, well, we are the world, ask us, talk to
us, hear us.....
