developing athletes. We’re helping to make dreams come
true. And if you’ve participated in any one of these
provincial or national competitions, you know the spirit of
the Games lives with you long after the closing ceremonies
– whether you’re participating, volunteering, or
spectating.

The Arctic Winter Games are an international sport festival
bringing together athletes from the northern region of Alberta,
Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Yukon, Northern Quebec, Alaska,
Greenland, Russia and Scandinavia.
The 2008 Arctic Winter Games will be held in
Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.
