Strategic Training Initiative in Health Research - Training Program Grants to Enhance Quality of Life with a focus on Skin Disease and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation

CIHR's Institute of Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis is pleased to announce the results of the Requests for Applications (RFA) 'Strategic Training Initiative in Health Research - Training Program Grants to Enhance Quality of Life with a focus on Skin Disease and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation.'

The objective of this Request for Applications is to fund research that builds capacity within Canada's health research community through the training and development of researchers, and fosters the development and ongoing support of the research careers of women and men in health research related to the three research themes of the IMHA.

Three applications were received of which two were approved for funding.

Theme 1: Physical Activity,Mobility & Health
Theme 2: Tissue Injury, Repair & Replacement
Theme 3: Pain, Disability & Chronic Diseases
