Summer Program in Japan

The Summer Program in Japan provides graduate students in a health research field with first-hand research experience, and an introduction to the university research system, as well as the culture and language of Japan. The program's primary goals are to introduce students to Japanese health research in the context of a research laboratory, and to increase the potential for future collaboration. The program lasts approximately eight weeks (from June to August). The results of the competition are announced in April. CIHR is responsible for selecting Canadian nominees for the award.

CIHR and The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) are pleased to announce the funding of one Summer Program in Japan Award applications from the November 2006 competition. Select either an HTML or PDF file below to view a list of the individual who has been offered an award.
