The Canadian Institutes of Health Research in partnership with the Canadian Patient Safety Institute are pleased to announce the results of the March 2007 Operating Grant Priority Announcement: Patient Safety competition.
The goal of this Priority Announcement is to promote patient safety issues in a more robust way through research.
Applications considered for funding were deemed relevant to areas of health services research with the goal of improving patient safety in Canadian jurisdictions by focusing on the identification and/or mitigation of adverse events, including how to implement patient safety improvements across the health system.
