Library

Our Library's staff go out of their way to meet the research needs of employees. Our Library has an excellent collection of economics, financial, and Bank of Canada publications, as well as a wide selection of publications on management, administration, and informatics. The collection contains over 67,000 books and 9,000 periodicals, as well as access to numerous electronic journals and indexes.

Fitness Centre

Winner of a provincial certificate in programming and the first accredited fitness centre in Canada, the Bank's Fitness and Recreation Centre was created in 1981 for the use of Bank employees. It offers:

• therapeutic and chair massage
• various recreational programs

• gym hockey

Currency Museum

The Bank is home to the Currency Museum, which displays artifacts from the 100,000-item National Currency Collection. More.

Garden Court

The three head-office buildings are linked by walkways that span an indoor oasis of trees, shrubs, tropical plants, and a reflecting pool. The seventh-floor walkway leads to a peaceful terrace, an ideal place for a lunch break or a moment's reading.
