Funding

In 2003/04, IMHA made just under $5.5 million available to support its grants and awards program.

To support optimal strategic planning, appropriate annual budgeting and a sustainable array of helpful research tools for our communities, IMHA has created a staggered planning cycle for Requests for Applications. Under this new system, researchers can apply for funding under six major program areas in June and/or December.

June
  • New Emerging Teams
  • Strategic Training Initiatives in Health Research
  • Priority Announcements
December
  • Tools and Techniques in Health Research
