ResearchNet Update - Upcoming Changes for Applicants to Operating Grants, New Investigators, and Doctoral Research Awards Programs

(2007-06-01) Applicants to the Operating Grants, New Investigators and Doctoral Research Awards programs will be required to use ResearchNet to electronically submit their applications for the Fall 2007 competitions, unless otherwise indicated in the "How to Apply" section of the funding opportunity. Do not use CIHR Web Forms for these three programs.
  1. For the Operating Grants competition, the system will be available for applicants to begin completing their information by the end of June 2007 for the Fall 2007 competitions.

  2. For the New Investigators competition, the system will be available for applicants to begin completing their information by the end of June 2007 for the Fall 2007 competitions.

  3. For the Doctoral Research Awards competition, the system will be available for applicants to begin completing their information by mid-July 2007 for the Fall 2007 competitions once the Doctoral Research Award (2007-2008) competition is launched.

Note that applicants who start their applications on the existing CIHR Web Forms will not be able to transfer this information to ResearchNet.
