The principal aims of the Scandinavian Heritage Society are to promote education and research into the Scandinavian culture and languages, and to publicize the efforts and accomplishments of the Scandinavian immigrants to Canada. Local groups in the Society represent five Scandinavian countries: Denmark, Finnland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. Includes information on Scandinavian flags, cultural groups, events and language training.

The Solglyt Lodge (Sons of Norway) offers a variety of social, cultural and sports activities of interest to individuals of Norwegian heritage and those interested in Norway. The Lodge organizes a number of special interest programs that encourage, develop and enhance skills related to Norwegian culture, language, folk art and handicrafts.
