A research call will be announced in 2007
A research call will be announced inviting community-based organizations and researchers to submit proposals to undertake participatory action research with a strong focus on combating racism in Canada. Academic researchers are encouraged to work with community-based organizations to achieve the benefit of both levels of expertise.
Since the CRRF's creation in 1997 we have created a body of research that addresses systemic racism. The CRRF's objective is to ensure that the research findings and recommendations are actionable. Research undertaken through the CRRF's Contract Research program makes a unique, value-added contribution to current policy debates and program approaches that features anti-racism practice. It provides a unique opportunity for participatory action research that serves a particular audience.
