How to find grant application forms

If you are having trouble locating grant application forms, read this entire page carefully.

Downloadable application forms are NOT located in one central spot on this web site, but are attached to each specific grant program information page.

Some of our grants can be applied for on-line using our GO! Grants On-Line application system. If the GO! Grants On-Line system is available for the grant of interest to you, the GO! symbol will be visible on the grant information page.

You will find the link for application guidelines and forms in the right-hand margin of each grant program information page.

Steps

1) Navigate to the grant program information page of interest to you.

Example:
Dance/Grants to Dance Professionals

2) Scroll down to the downloadable PDF application form in the right-hand margin of the grant program information page.

3) Click on the PDF link to download the form.

4) If the downloadable form does not appear in the right-hand margin of the grant program information page, or if you are having trouble with the form, contact the officer responsible for the grant program. (Some application forms are not posted.)

Use the navigation bar in the upper left-hand margin of this web help page to navigate to the artistic discipline of your choice (eg, Dance, Visual Arts, etc.).

For general grants enquiries only, contact the Arts Services Unit at 1-800-263-5588 or (613) 566-4307 extension 5060, or by e-mail at info@canadacouncil.ca

An IMPORTANT NOTE about Adobe Acrobat (PDF) forms available on this web site:

The application forms in PDF format available from this web site are NOT interactive. You must download the application form, print it out and complete it by hand and return it by mail to the address indicated on the form. To view and print the forms, you will require the Acrobat Reader (TM) software.

Some grants can be applied for on-line using the GO! grants on-line system. If the on-line system is available for the grant that interests you, the GO! symbol ( GO! Grants On-Line) will be displayed on the grant information page.

Read the grant program information carefully to determine your eligibilty before attempting to apply. Eligible applicants can download, print out and complete the appropriate form and send it to the Canada Council accompanied by the required support material, no later than the deadline date specified in the program guidelines.
