![]() Notice – “Authorized Representative” InformationThe Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB) requires that this form be provided to confirm that your counsel is authorized to represent you before the IRB. If your counsel is charging you a fee, he or she must be an “authorized representative” under the Regulations. “Authorized representative” is defined as “a member in good standing of a bar of a province, the Chambre des notaires du Québec or the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants”. Your counsel must complete a Counsel Contact Information Form and return it to the nearest IRB Registry office. If your counsel is not charging you a fee, please complete the Notice of Representation Without a Fee and return it to the nearest IRB Registry office. If the IRB does not receive either form, your counsel may not be allowed to represent you before the IRB, and the IRB will consider you to be unrepresented. Form (size: 441 KB) |
