CANADA’S NEW GOVERNMENT TO ANNOUNCE PROGRAM TO HELP WITH THE COMMERCIALIZATION OF AGRI-FOOD PRODUCTS

OTTAWA, Ontario, January 22, 2007 – The Honourable Chuck Strahl, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board, will be in Winnipeg on Tuesday, January 23, to announce a new program aimed at moving new products, processes and services along the innovation chain and into the commercial phase. Minister Strahl will be available to speak to media following the announcement.
