MINISTER STRAHL TO SPEAK AT THE WBGA-WCWGA CONVENTION

OTTAWA, Ontario, February 15, 2007 – The Honourable Chuck Strahl, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board, will be in Calgary on Friday, February 16, to speak at the Western Barley Growers Association (WBGA) and the Western Canadian Wheat Growers Association (WCWGA) joint convention about government priorities, improvements within the agricultural portfolio and the need to vote in favour of marketing choice. Following his address the Minister will be available to speak to media.
