MINISTER STRAHL TO VISIT THE ATLANTIC REGION

OTTAWA, Ontario, March 1, 2007 – The Honourable Chuck Strahl, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board, will be travelling to the Atlantic region March 2-4.

On March 2, Minister Strahl will be at the Institute for Nutrisciences and Health in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
On March 3, Minister Strahl, accompanied by Tobique-Mactaquac MP Mike Allen, will be in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
On March 4, Minister Strahl will be in Halifax, Nova Scotia, to meet with provincial and municipal elected officials.

The Minister will make announcements in the following two locations and will be available to speak to media.
